We are seeking to recruit a Business Analyst to complement our software services
team in delivering a number of key customer projects. The vacancy is aimed at individuals
who are keen to maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure that business
requirements are met, and who can manage assignments and projects to deliver business value.
The Business Analyst will work with clients to evaluate IT alignment to the clients’
business objectives, perform technology assessments, assess business processes, define IT
strategies, liaise with stakeholders as part of an IT management framework and support the
implementation of projects. To meet these objectives, the successful candidate is an experienced
individual who can deal with customers using a professional and competent approach.
The successful job holder’s responsibilities will include:
- Eliciting, understanding, and communicating business requirements using industry techniques such as business process descriptions and use-cases.
- Translating business requirements into functional specifications and test plans.
- Defining, analysing and documenting business processes and workflows.
- Working with software and technical teams to design and implement information and communications solutions.
- Managing the relationship with customers in delivering software projects and services.
- Managing customer projects and change requests to delivery business value.
Interested candidates should have:
- Experience in directly interacting with business stakeholders and users.
- Experience in the full project lifecycle, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and industry best practices.
- A commitment to be customer focused, solution oriented, with sound analytical skills, judgement and persuasive skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A technical background in the development and implementation of information and communications solutions.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of four years experience in a similar role.
